39th Int. Conf. on Infrared, Millimeter, and THz Waves
September 14-19, 2014
The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ

Venue: Tucson & Conference Hotels

Tucson Arizona

Tucson is surrounded by five mountain ranges with spectacular sunrises and sunsets, blue skies, great weather and unique landscapes. It is situated near the Saguaro National Park in the Sonora desert and is home to some of the world's greatest optical observatories, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the unique Biosphere 2 and the Pima Air and Space museum, the world's largest private aviation museum (where we plan to hold our conference banquet!). Considered one of the sunniest places in the US, Tucson has a population of approximately 550,000 people distributed over an area of 220 square miles (570 sq km). Only 1 hour from the Mexican border, and 2 hours from Phoenix, Tucson is accessible by  air through Tucson International Airport (TUS).
